Implementing the approved Decree No 18/2010/NĐ-CP of the Government on the training and capacity enhancement plans in 2012, in the morning of October 30, 2012, the Management Training Institute (MTI) solemnly held an opening ceremony of a training course on “Capacity enhancement of legal knowledge and policies for S&T development” in Hanoi for staff and officials from Units and Divisions/Departments under Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). Dr Tran Cong Yen – Deputy Director of MTI attended and delivered his opening speech.

According to the international cooperation plan based on Protocol with Carroll University, US on the training cooperation for “capacity enhancement of S&T management for key S&T managers/officers of Vietnam” approved according to the Decision No 3833/QĐ-BKHCN dated 12/12/2011 by Minister of Science and Technology, the Management Training Institute organized a delegation (10 members) to study and exchange experience on training S&T managers in some Universities in USA from September 06, 2012 to September 16, 2012.
